Twenty five to thirty percent of our fellow Americans have a basic need to be led by a heartless dictator.  If they scream obscenities back at us, our message is getting through………so

Some might say we had a large victory recently in the “war on terror,” with the discovery of the plot to blow up nine planes as they flew toward the United States.  My question is, what part did the 135,000 American troops in Iraq play in this victory?  They mostly continue to hunt IEDs, and are totally unrelated to this plot. Those arrested were citizens of the UK acting from England, not Iraqis.  Would the probable result not have been the same without the lion’s share of our military bogged down in Iraq?

Some might even conclude that the British citizens who hatched this plot against America might have felt that their religion was being threatened by ’our boots in their dirt.’ 

Western Nations’ intelligence agencies working together, as they should have been in 2001, were responsible for this progress, not the armies of the coalition occupying Iraq.
